These days i m sooo addicted to the manga--> Detective Conan / 名偵探コナン by Gosho Aoyama. Its about a teenage detective (17 yrs-old) Shinichi Kudo , when he on a date wif his childhood fren Ran Mouri, he saw some suspecious guys trading black money...so he went to peep on them...unfortunately , they have another comrade who knocked out Shinichi n force him 2 drink a chemical....the chemical turned him into a small child while his thinkingremains the same....4 fear that they might come back 4 his life, he stays at Ran's house witha new identity......Edogawa Conan...No 1 knew he was actually the famous detective accept his parents, his scientist neighbour who always make new gadgets 4 him to continue solve cases without showing his real identity...and his best fren...also a detective Hatori....well...the series goes on wif lots n lots of cases which he solved them perfectly.....but as the story goes on, the writer started to let Ran n Shinichi's relationship go further ( this is da part i enjoy the most XP)....both do not dare admit thier feelings 4 each other even though their feelings ARE very strong......^_^i also enjoy the cleverness of how he solved the cases and hide his identity at da same time XD~....but it'll only be enjoyable if u can bare with all the explanations abt the crime......
but for me i'll give it a 4/5 rating ....its quite entertaining and thr's a lot of knowledge that can be learnt ^_^ so....i luv it!!!!

Same here, lady! 4 out of 5. The one point is deducted because how shinichi became a kid is kinda fake lor.. for a detective story it is supposed to be logical ma.
ReplyDeleteI used to watch the anime, I admit that it's kinda entertaining, but too bad it's dubbed with Malay... so gotta endure the cacat-ed voices la xD I bet the Japanese version is far more better than the dubbed one!
Some recommendations for other detective mangas:
Q- Dan Detective School
Quite a good one. Not only murder cases, but also minor stuff like thefts, harassments, kidnaps etc. Detectives include small boy, teenage guys and girls, and also typical japanese big "pretty-boys". xD
The Kindaichi Case Files
Pure murder cases. VERY SMART, but kinda scary. Plot with superduper twists. I guess the police can use this manga series as reference.

ReplyDeleteyeah...the Malay voices r sooooooooooo annoying...i use to watch frm tv....n i do have some of the movies ( this anime has too many movies..=.=) which is in Jap...^_^...Shinichi's voice is sooo nice.....4 me 1 mark is deducted coz i wana c more of Shinichi not Conan...XP~
by the way thr's also a Live Action Movie...scene is b4 he turn to Conan ...hehehe XD...its quite nice but i like the actual voice of Shinichi better....XD
Shinichi is way better looking than Conan! Ya, Shinichi appears more in the story, probably there'll be an increased romance part in the manga/anime!
