Anime

ANIME!! short for animation, normally refers to japanese animation. Common terminology created by the japanese (?) for easy reference as to differentiate japanese styled animation to of the usual USA cartoons. Characters are often drawn in manga style such as big eyes flowery backgrounds with an interesting plot. There are two types of anime shoujo and shonen. Shoujo types have more focus on the character design and romance whereas shonen focuses more on the plot and action scenes...
